Greetings KNND Listeners!
As this worldwide pandemic continues and we remain in a local, state and national state of emergency, we are relieved the death toll was much less than initially feared. This is due in large part because we obeyed the directions given by our elected and public health officials to stay home and save lives!
Our condolences to those who have lost loved ones to this novel coronavirus/COVID-19 and our thankfulness for the many who have recovered. As a small independent business, we stand with all of you who are struggling financially as our nation’s robust economy has skidded to a near stop.
We commend our healthcare and retail workers who heroically remain on the front lines in the midst of this deadly virus to save lives and to provide us with essential services. We are grateful to our advertisers who faithfully continued their advertising through this crisis allowing us to remain on the air and thankful for our listeners who have financially supported them.
As our state and our country begin to re-open in phases, our prayer is the worse of this pandemic is now behind us. As we emerge from our social isolation, we enter a new world that will be very different for the forseeable future. During this State of Emergency, it is critical that we continue to strive to be our “best selves” and not let fear and uncertainty guide our decision-making.
As this State of Emergency continues, KNND staff will provide you with the most current information we receive from our national, state and local officials.
